Yook Sungjae’s Gift Disappoints Joy on "We Got Married"

Red Velvet’s Joy expresses disappointment with the gift from BTOB’s Yook Sungjae on the September 19 broadcast of MBC’s “We Got Married.”

Yook Sungjae mentions that he wants to give his lips to her as her Coming-of-Age Day gift. His bold move makes Joy nervous.

At the very moment he’s about to give her the “gift,” the doorbell rings and in enters a man who specializes in making lip molds. Joy, who is shyly anticipating a kiss from Yook Sungjae, is flabbergasted at what’s about to take place. Yook Sungjae goes on to say, “I want to give you my lips as a gift. My lip mold. I saw it on a blog.”

Joy expresses her disappointment to the crew in an interview saying, “I was so disappointed. I didn’t have any desire to make the mold. What will I do with a lip mold? I was so offended.”

On the other hand, Yook Sungjae explains himself, saying, “I was worried that she’d be disappointed by my being too forward. I thought it’d be a cute idea, but she was stunned at what was about to happen. She’s cute.”
