iKON Tops Music Charts for Six Days Straight with "My Type"

YG Entertainment‘s new male group iKON has dominated the music charts for six consecutive days with their warm-up single “My Type.”

“My Type” shot to the top of all major charts immediately after its release on September 15, and it has continued to perform extremely well despite tough competition from “Show Me the Money” and “Infinite Challenge” collaboration hits.

As of September 20 at 7.30 P.M. (KST), the track maintains its No.1 spot on the real-time charts of Melon, Bugs, Olleh Music, Soribada, Genie, and Naver Music.

“My Type” has been produced by YG’s household names Choice37 and Kush in collaboration with member B.I, while the lyrics were penned by B.I, Bobby, and Kush.

Meanwhile, the first part of iKON’s anticipated debut album is set to drop on October 1, marking their official entrance to the music scene.
