4Minute Thrills Fans at First Fan Meeting in Five Years

Girl group 4Minute has had the chance to meet with their fans as a group for the first time in five years!

The fan meeting was held on September 19 in Seoul, and was the first time they’ve held such an event since they were promoting “Muzik” in 2010. The venue was packed with fans from not only Korea, but also China, Singapore, Canada, and many other countries.

The girls took the mics themselves as MCs to talk with their fans, and it’s said that it felt like they were more like friends or family than celebrities. They played some games such as trying to put lines of their songs in the right order, and a “telepathy” game with fans about the members’ dislikes and likes. The winner of that game got to take a photo with 4Minute.

The members also read off some questions that fans had submitted. One of the questions was “What period of promotions do you most want to experience again?” Jiyoon replied, “When we were doing ‘Muzik’ we won first place for the first time, and I got a passport for the first time for all our overseas activities. It’s also memorable because we had our first fan meeting.”

4Minute then performed many of their hits for fans, including “Crazy,” “HUH,” and “What’s Your Name?” During their encore performance with “Thank You,” fans made the members cry with a special event designed to thank 4Minute for their seven years together. It’s said that HyunA was the member who cried the most, to the point that she couldn’t even talk.

4Minute said, “This was a really meaningful time for us. We prepared for this with a lot of passion, like we were going back to when we first debuted. Thank you so much for coming from so far away, and we’re going to work hard and promise to meet you again next time.” They also mentioned their plans for a comeback, telling fans that they’re currently working on songs.
