"Sixteen" Trainee Minyoung Leaves JYP Entertainment

JYP Entertainment‘s girl group idol competition show “Sixteen” contestant Minyoung has left the entertainment company.

Minyoung broke this news through her personal Instagram account on September 23. “I left the company. I want to bear in another place. I haven’t given up.”

She further continued, “I wanted to interact with my fans while being at the company, but I couldn’t and it was frustrating. I wanted to tell you that I was really thankful for all the gifts you have sent me. They gave me so much energy. I’m truly thankful.”

JYP chose the members of their upcoming girl group Twice through “Sixteen.” The final chosen members were Nayeon, Jungyeon, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Dahyun, Chaeyoung, Mina and Tzuyu.
