“Reply 1988” Reveals Its First Official Poster

The poster for tvN’s highly anticipated drama “Reply 1988” is revealed. The production team for the drama revealed the poster with the entire cast dressed in character wearing ’80s outfits.

Three mothers standing in the back row all show off the same hair nicknamed “Broccoli” hairstyle. Also, the fathers have similar hairstyles with awkward parts that was trendy at the time.

The rest of the cast who represent the youths of that generation are all dressed in fashion styles that were made popular in the ’80s: training suits, baseball jumpers, washed out jeans, dragonfly eyeglasses, and hairstyles exuding innocence.

The production team adds, “With its 1988 backdrop, it will be a comic drama that will take the viewers back to the analog age where families and neighbors cried and laughed together.”

“Reply 1988” will star Girl’s Day’s Hyeri, Go Kyung Pyo, Park Bo Gum, Sung Dong Il, Lee Il Hwa, among others. It will air in October as a follow-up to tvN’s “Twenty Again.”
