Shin Hyun Joon Announces He Is Going to Be a Father

Actor Shin Hyun Joon has shared the happy news that he and his wife will soon be welcoming a baby to the world!

On September 25, he uploaded a photo to his Instagram of himself walking on the street in a shirt that reads “Dad.” He writes as the caption in both Korean and English, “I’m gonna be a dad!! We are expecting a baby. It feels amazing. I promise to be a great dad and always be grateful for everything. Love you all.”

Shin Hyun Joon’s agency HJ Artists confirmed the wonderful news, and shared that his wife is currently eleven weeks pregnant. “Shin Hyun Joon was so moved that he cried when he saw the baby moving on the ultrasound screen,” they state.

In 2013, Shin Hyun Joon married Kim Kyung Mi (Linda Kim), a Korean-American who is working on a doctoral degree in music in the United States. Shin Hyun Joon is currently the host of the KBS entertainment news show “Entertainment Weekly.”
