YG Entertainment Addresses Mnet's Exclusion of iKON in "M!Countdown" Music Chart

YG Entertainment spoke up about the recent exclusion of iKON‘s song in “M!Countdown” music chart, which made many iKON fans upset.

On September 25, an affiliate of YG Entertainment stated, “The fact that iKON was excluded in ‘M!Countdown’ music chart is unacceptable. Prior to this, there were songs that were included in the chart that weren’t promoted in music shows. We do not understand why it’s like this just now. Mnet still hasn’t talked with us directly about this issue.”

The song that was left out of the chart is iKON’s “My Type,” which was released on September 15 and topped many online music charts. However, when this song was left out in the recent “M!Countdown” music chart, fans became upset and complained to Mnet for iKON’s unfair treatment.
