Suzy’s Father to Open a Taekwondo Academy in Seoul
Suzy of miss A made some clarifications about a previous report regarding her parents’ plans to move from Gwangju to Seoul. It has been reported that her father, Bae Wan Young, plans to open up a Taekwondo academy in the Seocho District of Seoul.
Her agency JYP Entertainment announced, “Suzy currently lives in Samseongdong, Seoul. Her mother visits her often from Gwangju to look after Suzy. Yes, her father is planning to open up a Taekwondo academy in Seocho District in Seoul and has visited Seoul often. However, the whole family will not be moving since Suzy’s siblings still attend school in Gwangju.”
Suzy has spent a busy year so far making a comeback with the girl group miss A. She is currently promoting her new upcoming movie “Dorihwaga” directed by Lee Jong Pil and also starring actor Ryu Seung Ryong.
Her father, Bae Wan Young, had served as the team leader for the Korean Youth Taekwondo National Team for the tenth World Junior Taekwondo Championships in 2014.
