CNBLUE’s Kang Minhyuk Shows His Love for His Grandmother
CNBLUE’s Kang Minhyuk shows his love for his maternal grandmother by paying her a special visit to celebrate Chuseok. He even brings her a bouquet of flowers and prepares a meal for her.
On the September 25 broadcast of MBC’s “I Live Alone,” Kang Minhyuk visits his maternal grandmother at her home.
Reminiscing about his childhood, Kang Minhyuk remembers spending a lot of time at his grandmother’s home. He remembers her always being kind to him. He is thoughtful and careful around his grandmother as he helps her get around in a wheelchair.
As soon as her grandson arrives, his grandmother expresses her happiness at the sight of him by stroking his face. Kang Minhyuk hands a bouquet of flowers to her as she replies smiling, “This is the first time I ever received flowers.”
His grandmother takes out Kang Minhyuk’s childhood photo album as he shyly smiles looking through the pictures.
Kang Minhyuk goes on to bring out fruit and rice cakes he prepared in advance. He also prepares japchae, Korean pancakes, and even pizza which his grandmother especially enjoys.
As his grandmother starts to eat the food he prepared, Kang Minhyuk nervously awaits her opinion on his cooking. His grandfather compliments him saying the food tastes better than he expected. Grandmother gives him her approval by smiling at him proudly. Although the meal isn’t perfect, the love and consideration he has for his grandparents is what really matters.
As for the other members on the variety show, actress Hwang Seok Jeong touched viewers’ hearts by visiting her father’s burial site and shedding tears. Shinhwa’s Kim Dong Wan spent a memorable day with his nephews. Singer Kangnam, entertainer Jun Hyun Moo, musician Yook Joong Wan, and actor Kim Yong Gun enjoy a fun conversation while making rice cakes. Meanwhile, Kim Young Chul shops for Chuseok gifts for some acquaintances. Everyone is busily spending Chuseok holiday weekend in their own unique ways.
