"Unpretty Rapstar 2" Eliminates Two Contestants and Brings in New Idol Rapper

Spoiler alert! Two rappers have been eliminated from “Unpretty Rapstar 2.”

On the episode of “Unpretty Rapstar 2” aired on September 25, a 1:1 rap battle was held as the elimination mission.

Five rounds were held, including Heize versus KITTIB, Hyorin versus Kasper, Truedy versus Ahn Soo Min, Gilme versus ASH-B, and a three-way battle between Yoobin, Sua, and Yeji.

These battles were also aired live through the Internet while filming. Viewers’ were given one vote for whichever rapper they thought did better. Based on their vote, five rappers lost their round and would be forced to participate in another solo battle.

During the episode, the elimination is in the hands of the audience’s votes and the evaluation of special guests Zico and Mad Clown. During the online live airing, there was also a special viewers’ voting that gave everyone one vote for one rapper. There is a loser and winner during every round, and the five rappers who have lost must participate in another solo battle.

During the actual episode, the losers are revealed to be Kasper, ASH-B, Heize, Ahn Soo Min, and Yeji. Though Heize and Kasper are saved thanks to special judges Zico and Mad Clown, the rest must fight for the last ticket to survival. In the end, Yeji wins the ticket and ASH-B and Ahn Soo Min are eliminated.

Meanwhile, 4Minute’s Jiyoon will be added to the show in their place.
