EXO's Baekhyun Says Suho Was Envious of His New Hosting Role

On September 27’s episode of MBC‘s “Section TV,” EXO‘s Baekhyun takes part in an interview along with his fellow MCs for the Chuseok pilot variety program “The Gifted” (working title).

Baekhyun is hosting the show with Hwang Jae Geun, Kim Gu Ra, Ye Ji Won, Kim Tae Won, and Yoo Sae Yoon. It introduces regular individuals who are considered to be “maniacs” in their respective fields due to their impressive skills.

The interviewer says to Baekhyun, “This is your first time taking on the role of an MC on a variety show. Was there a member that was envious of you?”

Baekhyun replies with no hesitation, “Suho was a bit envious. He has some ambitions about hosting.” Baekhyun and Suho of course used to host “Inkigayo” together.

Baekhyun also says that he’s learned a lot from his co-host Yoo Sae Yoon. “He’s always saying things that are so funny,” says Baekhyun, who starts laughing just at the thought. “Although there was a lot of weird stuff too,” he adds, which cracks Yoo Sae Yoon up as well.

“The Gifted” will be airing on September 29 at 8:35 p.m. KST on MBC. Are you excited to watch?
