Noh Hong Chul Returns to Screen With “Lazy Hitchhikers,” Talks About Drinking and Driving
Noh Hong Chul has finally returned to the screens after a 10 month absence.
The episode of MBC’s Chuseok special “Lazy Hitchhikers” aired on September 27 has been the center of attention even before its airing as Noh Hong Chul’s comeback program.
In the show, Noh Hong Chul, travel writer Tae Won Joon, street artist Ryony, actor and model Song Won Seok, and college student Lee Dong Wook travel Europe for 20 days with only 1,800,00 won (approximately $150) per person. In the first scene, scenes of Noh Hong Chul and the members traveling are introduced as well as their first meeting. Lee Dong Wook’s narration also introduces their reasons behind participating in the trip.
While hitchhiking, Noh Hong Chul also brings up his drinking and driving incident. Once him and his crew get on the car, the driver asks if he can drive.
“My driver’s license got canceled. I made a big mistake,” Noh Hong Chul answers.
When asked what his job is, he answers, “I’m a celebrity. However. I lost everything to drinking and driving. I lost everything, including my job. Don’t drink and drive. Never do it.”
