Lee Min Ho's 2015 Korea Tourism Promotion Video Sets Record With Sky-High View Count

Actor Lee Min Ho filmed Korea Tourism Organization‘s promotional video for 2015, and it looks like it’s a big hit!

The promo video went up on YouTube on July 29 and it has broken 20 million views in just 59 days. As of today (September 30) it has more than 22.7 million views.

Not only is this the highest number of views that the Korea Tourism Organization has ever gotten for its promo videos, but it is the highest among other foreign tourism videos, including Australia, England, Singapore, Japan, and more.

The Korea Tourism Organization decided to survey 600 people living in 15 countries of what they think of this promotion video. A majority — 70 percent — said “I like the 2015 Korea Tourism video,” and of those people, 82 percent said “I want to visit Korea after seeing this video.” Moreover, 49 percent of the people that gave that answer said, “It’s because I like the person in the advertisement.”
