Star Empire Entertainment Files Lawsuit for Suggestive Photo of 9MUSES’ Kyungri

Star Empire Entertainment has filed a legal complaint against the university students who added sexually suggestive captions to a photo of 9MUSES’ Kyungri for their fall festival poster. The original photograph was from a magazine pictorial that the girl group member had taken part in.

On October 5, the agency filed the lawsuit at the Seoul Western District Court, citing a violation of the Information Network and Data Protection Act.

“Star Empire Entertainment will no longer tolerate libel, the spreading of false rumors, and malicious comments about its affiliated artists,” read the agency’s official statement. “From now on, we will not be lenient in dealing with these complaints.”
