Lovelyz's Seo Ji Soo Sues Netizens Who Spread Rumors for Defamation

Girl group Lovelyz‘s agency Woollim Entertainment has released an official press release regarding their latest case surrounding the netizens who spread rumors about Lovelyz member Seo Ji Soo.

In the announcement made on October 5, the idol star’s agency stated that they have filed defamation suits against three people who spread false rumors regarding Seo Ji Soo online.

The agency’s legal representative said, “The accused ‘A,’ who was charged a fine for spreading the rumors prior to the girl group’s debut, came to Woollim to ask for a settlement. However, in the process of the settlement, ‘A’ plotted with other defendants ‘B’ and ‘C’ to reclaim the rumors that were proven false in court. [Woollim] has decided to file a charge against them for defamation, as they continue to play victim in the case.”

Woollim also announced that they will continue to monitor all rumors and negative comments made about the girl group, and press charges as necessary.
