Park Ip Sun Asks Netizens to Think of Her Children Before Writing Hateful Comments

Former soccer player Song Jong Kook is in the middle of divorcing his wife, Park Ip Sun.

On October 12, Park Ip Sun uploaded on her Instagram a photo of her children Ji Ah and Ji Wook with their backs facing the camera.

Along with the photo she wrote, “This is so difficult. All of the comments online are full of speculation and swears. Such hatred online hurts my children too. Please think of my kids.”

She continued, “No matter what anyone says, Ji Ah’s and Ji Wook’s father is the best father towards them. My heart breaks when I think that other students at my children’s school might say something about the divorce to them. I don’t want my kids to suffer. Please help me make that happen.”

The two have been married since 2006 and have two children, Ji Ah and Ji Wook. It was revealed on October 6 that Park Ip Sun and Song Jong Kook had filed for divorce. Netizens recently dug up alleged evidence that Song Jong Kook may have had an affair with another woman and that this was the reason for the divorce. It was further revealed that Song Jong Kook has given up custody over his children.
