This comes only a week after reports of their relationship surfaced, revealing that the rappers had been dating for the past two years.

According to TV Report, Heize and Crucial Star broke up several months ago and have since been simply colleagues. They had ended their relationship months before Heize started filming “Unpretty Rapstar 2.”

Heize was reportedly completely taken aback by the recent news claiming that she is still in a relationship with Crucial Star, and to set the facts straight, she informed “Unpretty Rapstar 2” producers about their recent break-up. As her busy filming schedule had caused her to miss the appropriate timing for sharing the break-up news, she asked the production team to clarify her relationship status through the show.

The producers respected her wish to clear up the misunderstandings and went on to refer to Crucial Star as Heize’s ex-boyfriend throughout the latest episode, explicitly suggesting that the two rappers are no longer together.

The captions referring to Crucial Star as Heize’s ex were aired mainly during the 1:1 diss battle between Heize and KittyB. This was most likely to explain what caused Heize to react so emotionally to KittyB’s background track, which was the beat of Crucial Star’s “I’m Okay.”
