Kim Dong Wan Sees Similarities Between Shinhwa and Girls' Generation

Kim Dong Wan thinks Girls’ Generation has what it takes to follow in the footsteps of Korea’s longest-running idol group Shinhwa.

On the October 25 broadcast of MBC’s “Section TV,” he sits down for an interview to discuss his recent solo comeback and overall music career.

When asked which group he would choose as the “next Shinhwa,” Kim Dong Wan replies, “Girls’ Generation.”

“They haven’t replaced any members, and they seem to pursue activities rather freely. All of them also have distinct and unique personalities,” the first-generation idol explained, and finally added, “I think they’ll stay together for a long time.”

Meanwhile, Kim Dong Wan dropped his first solo album in seven years on October 21 and is currently promoting the title track “I’m Fine” on music shows.
