Cha Tae Hyun Doesn't Give Kim Jong Kook the Chance to Talk on the Phone on "2 Days & 1 Night"

Cha Tae Hyun refuses to interview Kim Jong Kook on “2 Days & 1 Night” in order to adhere by media etiquette.

On the episode of KBS 2TV’s “2 Days & 1 Night” that aired on October 25, the members travel to Kangwondo for a trip with the theme “Movie OST Road.”

One of the missions the members receive is to call a friend and have them continue singing a famous song from a movie. After pondering it for a while, Cha Tae Hyun decides to call his good friend Kim Jong Kook. He starts off the song “Maria” from “200 Pounds of Beauty” and Kim Jong Kook continues with the next line.

However, Kim Jong Kook is one of the stars of “Running Man,” a rival show of “2 Days & 1 Night.” Therefore Cha Tae Hyun says, “Sorry, I’m hanging up now, you can’t be interviewed,” and immediately hangs up without giving his friend a chance to talk. On top of that, the show also doesn’t use any images of Kim Jong Kook.
