"She Was Pretty" Responds to Speculations About Sad Ending

There are only three episodes left of MBC’s Wednesday-Thursday drama “She Was Pretty,” and after the ominous end of last week’s episode, fans are worried that the drama will not have a happy ending.

A representative from the production company said on October 30, “There are many speculations about the ending but we don’t know yet if it will be sad or happy. Writer Jo Sung Hee has not yet completed the script for the last episode. Right now we have the scripts for up to Episode 14.”

The representative continued, “The truth about Choi Siwon’s character will also be revealed but we can’t give a definite time. Please continue to watch the broadcast.”

Last episode, Ji Sung Joon (Park Seo Joon) and Kim Hye Jin (Hwang Jung Eum) have finally started their romance, but trouble appears to be brewing for the new couple. Sung Joon offers Hye Jin a tentative proposal, with one condition. How that condition will play out is yet unknown, but Hwang Jung Eum wraps up the episode with an ominous narration.

“There is a law to luck,” she says. “As much as you are happy now, you will receive bad luck in the future.”
