Davichi's Current Agency Asks Former Agency to Retract Release of New Song

Davichi’s current agency, CJ E&M has revealed that they are requesting their former agency, MBK Entertainment, to retract the release for their latest song.

On November 2, CJ E&M said through a press release, “We are requesting Davichi’s former agency, Core Contents Media (now MBK) to retract the release of the song “Moments.” After learning that they planned to release this song, we requested the retraction through a variety of routes. A rough outline of this song was recorded by Davichi for an OST, but eventually discarded as not fitting with the concept. The song was not ready to be released, but MBK’s new artists are currently using the track for their promotions.”

“The contract between the artists and the former agency is finished,” CJ E&M continued. “The artists have been embarrassed and saddened by this incident when they were preparing to release a new song after a long break and were preparing for a concert for the first time in two years.”
