Super Junior's Kangin Explains Why He Rarely Hangs Out With Celebrities

Kangin has revealed that he does not enjoy mingling with his colleagues outside of work.

The Super Junior member was a special DJ on the November 2 broadcast of SBS PowerFM’s “Kim Chang Ryul’s Old School.” During the radio show, one of the listeners sent in a message that said, “You seem like the most popular Super Junior member among girls in unofficial settings.”

At this, Kangin said, “I don’t think so. I don’t hang out with the members in my free time, so I can’t really say anything.”

He then noted that he is rarely seen with other celebrities. “I try to avoid hanging out with people who have the same job as me. After all, I can’t match up to their looks. I usually hang out with those friends who have no fashion style, or those who are married.”

The studio was quickly filled with laughter after he said, “That’s how I manage to look okay [in comparison to my friends].”
