4Minute's Gayoon Cast in Her First Movie

Girl group 4Minute’s Gayoon is cast in her first movie “Dad, Daughter” (working title) directed by Kim Hyung Hyup. She will use her full name Heo Gayoon rather than her 4Minute name Gayoon marking the launch of her silver screen debut.

Heo Gayoon will portray Kyung Mi, a friend to Jung So Min in the movie.

Heo Gayoon made her debut as an actress through her appearance in the MBC drama “Light and Shadow” in 2012. She portrayed Hyun Kyung, the leader of the idol group of the ’80s Purple Sisters. She also appeared on tvN’s “Let’s Eat 2” back in April of this year playing the role of Hong Min Ah, an innocent and silly character.

It is said that Heo Gayoon is working hard at studying the Kyung Mi character she’s portraying in order to make her first silver screen debut a success.

“Dad, Daughter” is about family love. It’s about all the fathers out there who give their all for the sake of the family. It’s about the daughters who have forgotten fond memories of their fathers. It will be a heartwarming movie about family, memories, and love.
