Yook Sungjae and Joy Share a Drink on "We Got Married"
On the November 7 episode of MBC‘s “We Got Married,” Red Velvet‘s Joy and BTOB‘s Yook Sungjae share their first drinks together.
The couple sit down for a beer and snacks at the Han River, where Yook Sungjae tells Joy to close her eyes. He intends to give her a back hug, but chickens out at the last minute, incurring Joy’s wrath.
Later, when the two go out for food, it occurs to Yook Sungjae that he never asked Joy’s father for permission to drink with his daughter. Luckily, Joy’s father seems to be a pretty chill guy, easily giving Yook Sungjae his permission and even calling him “son.” He doesn’t even get mad when Yook Sungjae confesses that they’d already had a drink earlier at the river.
Joy jokingly asks her dad, “How could you give your permission so easily?” to which her father responds, “Thanks for calling, my daughter! I love you!”
