Entertainer Kim Il Joong Reveals How Yoo Jae Suk and His Wife Used to Date Secretly

Entertainer Kim Il Joong talks about behind-the-story of how Yoo Jae Suk and his wife, Na Kyung Eun, used to date secretly before they got married.

On the November 9 broadcast of Channel A’s talk show “Heard It Through the Grapevine,” the topic of discussion was about celebrities’ secret dating methods.

Kim Il Joong brought up Yoo Jae Suk and said, “When the news of Yoo Jae Suk and Na Kyung Eun’s dating broke out, I asked him how they dated secretly. He said they’d wait in the car until the movie previews ended and just as the movie started, they’d sneak in. If the movie started at 2 p.m. let’s say, they’d enter the theater at 2:10 p.m. They’d watch the movie sitting at the very last row. They’d be the last people to enter the theater and first ones to leave.”

He also talked about another couple. “This is before former SBS announcer Kim Min Ji married soccer star Park Ji Sung. I told her, ‘The up and coming athlete of the day is baseball player Ryu Hyun Jin. Date him.’ After I found out she was actually dating Park Ji Sung, I felt so bad.” Kim Il Joong went on to say, “Before it was revealed that Kim Min Ji was dating Park Ji Sung, there was a rumor going around saying Park Ji Sung was dating actress Kim Sa Rang. When the male announcers found out Park Ji Sung was actually dating Kim Min Ji, we all said ‘No way, I’d rather date Kim Sa Rang.’ I regret that so much. I was so wrong to say that.”

Channel A’s talk show “Heard It Through the Grapevine” is emceed by actor Shin Hyun Joon and singer Hong Jin Young. It’s a talk show centered around an up close look at things people are curious about concerning celebrities.
