Actress Lee Yoo Bi Remains Firm in Stance Against Her Blackmailers
On November 11, actress Lee Yoo Bi’s representative from SidusHQ spoked to a media outlet and asserted, “On November 9, Lee Yoo Bi cooperated with the police on her cell phone blackmail incident. It didn’t take long and I believe she did her best to be cooperative.”
The representative added, “We have already pressed charges, so it’s out of our hands at this point. She will cooperate with the police until the investigation is complete.” He adamantly asserted, “We’re not in a position to come to an amicable agreement, but even if we were, we wouldn’t.”
Meanwhile, the police arrested “B” for blackmailing Lee Yoo Bi saying he would return her missing cell phone for 20 million won (approximately $17,500) or he would release the contents of her cell phone to the public. Two teenage accomplices were also booked without detention.
Lee Yoo Bi lost her cell phone at a club in Gangnam on October 17. On October 22, she texted her cell phone, asking for it to be returned for compensation. “B” threatened Lee Yoo Bi four separate times where Lee Yoo Bi’s agency took it to the police and led to the arrest of “B.”
