Yook Sungjae Is Caught Off Guard When Joy Wants a Diamond Ring for Wedding Present

Joy wants a nice diamond ring and it’s making Yook Sungjae more nervous than ever before.

On the recent episode of “We Got Married” on November 14, Joy and Yook Sungjae go to the amusement park to have a dreamy wedding ceremony.

Prior to this event, the couple visits an accessory store to gift each other a wedding present. Yook Sungjae wants a ring that is suitable for their young age while Joy says, “A wedding ring isn’t for daily wear. It’s something to sell when you have financial trouble, like a jem,” and wants a diamond ring.

To this, Yook Sungjae says, “I’ll work hard,” and continues to avoid her eyes.

When Joy finds a cubic ring that she likes, they find out that the ring is 700,000 won (approximately $600) and they can add a diamond for 300,000 won (approximately $260) more.

However, Yook Sungjae says, “I’ll just put it in my shopping list for now,” and the couple ends up getting a cute and simple ring instead.

In Joy’s individual interview, she says, “I was just playing around with him because I wanted to see what his reaction would be. He didn’t realize that I was kidding and looked really overwhelmed. He always tells me to ‘do whatever you want,’ so I don’t think he knows what I like and dislike.”
