Choo Sarang Insists on Speaking Korean at Home on "The Return of Superman"

Choo Sarang’s Korean skills seem to improve daily, making her grandparents proud.

On the November 15 episode of KBS 2TV’s “The Return of Superman,” Sarang and her dad visit her grandparents’ house in Osaka. It’s been 10 months since their previous visit.

During the show, Choo Sung Hoon shows off his shaky Korean skills by misspelling “I love you.” Sarang then scolds him for using Japanese.

When Sarang spots him speaking to his mother in Japanese, she says, “Dad, why are you speaking to grandma in Japanese? You should not be speaking to her in Japanese.” Her firm attitude is enough to surprise Choo Sung Hoon.

Though he apologizes to her, she continues to say, “This is Osaka. Dad, you should not use Japanese to grandma but Korean instead.”

Sarang’s grandpa was thrilled at her enthusiasm towards Korean, saying, “I was surprised to see Sarang tell her grandmother to speak Korean. I’m very proud of her.”

Meanwhile, Choo Sung Hoon and Choo Sarang have returned to the show after a two-week absence due to Choo Sung Hoon’s preparation for the UFC Seoul competition.
