Shinhwa's Shin Hye Sung to Make Solo Comeback Early Next Year

It looks like Shinhwa fans will finally get to enjoy a solo comeback by Shin Hye Sung!

On November 16, the first-generation idol held a live stream event through Naver’s V app and clarified plans for his upcoming 10th solo debut anniversary album.

Shin Hye Sung revealed, “Many of you have been waiting for my anniversary album after announcing that it would be released sometime this year. But due to Shinhwa’s promotions, decisions regarding the album concept, and other things that came up, the preparations have taken longer than expected.”

“Right now, we’re around halfway done with the album. It will probably come out in January. I really wanted to release it before the end of the year but due to timing and scheduling issues and all that, we decided on January,” he shared details about his comeback, and finally asked his fans to remain patient for a little longer, “I’d like to apologize to those who have waited for me, but please wait one more month. I’ll wrap everything up well.”

When asked about his plans for a solo concert, the singer revealed, “I’m aiming to hold it in February,” and added, “But instead of having one or two concerts at a huge venue, I’m planning to regularly hold intimate ones on the weekends.”

Last September, Shin Hye Sung dropped a special repackaged version of his solo debut album “Love of May,” originally released in 2005, to celebrate his 10th anniversary since debut.
