Hwang Jung Eum Considering Female Lead Role in "Moon Lovers" Drama Remake

While it is confirmed that actors Lee Joon Gi and Kang Ha Neul are confirmed to star in the remake of the Chinese drama “Moon Lovers,” sources say that actress Hwang Jung Eum is currently considering the role of the main female lead role!

On November 18, an affiliate stated, “Hwang Jung Eum is in the final stages of looking over the female lead role of ‘Moon Lovers.'”

Hong Jong Hyun and EXO‘s Baekhyun are also considering their roles in this drama. If Hwang Jung Eum accepts her role, this will complete the cast line-up for “Moon Lovers.”

Meanwhile, this drama is about a girl suddenly traveling back in time. It will start airing at the beginning of next year.
