TVXQ‘s Changmin, who is enlisting to the military to begin his basic training to serve as part of the police force today, said goodbye to his fans in style by posting up a special video.

In the video that was posted on TVXQ’s official web page on November 18, Changmin takes an electric hair clipper in hand and shaves his own head. Maybe he’s feeling a bit awkward, because he laughs for the camera in the middle of it. He looks cheerful and happy more than being sad or upset, which puts the hearts of fans more at ease as well.

The captions after he’s finished shaving his head read, “Don’t go!” and then Changmin sends a short message of his own, saying, “I’ll be back~♡.”

Netizens who watched the video made comments including, “He’s handsome even after he’s shaved his head,” “So good-looking, be back safely!” and “Will 2017 ever come???”

Meanwhile, Changmin enlisted into the military without any special events on November 19 and will begin his basic training to serve as part of the police force today.
