SEVENTEEN’s Thoughts on Being Titled “Self-Producing Idols”
13-member rookie idol group SEVENTEEN, who debuted last May with the single “Adore U” and proceeded to follow up with “Manse,” have shot a chic pictorial for the fashion magazine CeCi.
The photo revealed shows all 13 of them cooly facing and posing for the camera in a variety of black and white outfits.
In addition to the photo shoot, they sat down for an interview with the magazine where they were asked about their feelings towards being nicknamed “completely self-producing idols.” Member Woozi produced their second mini-album “BOYS BE,” and other members have been involved in the production process for their songs.
“We feel extremely proud of the fact that we were able to achieve the title through taking part in the production of our album’s songs and choreography. In the future, we want to keep our title of ‘self-producing idols’ through taking part in the production of other things like costumes and album jackets.”
When asked about their aspirations, SEVENTEEN responded by saying that they wanted to continue working hard and hope to win the “Best Rookie” award for this year.
SEVENTEEN’s pictorial and interview can be found in the December edition of CeCi.
