Korean High School Student Performs “Hello” on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” After Cover Goes Viral
After her jaw-dropping cover of Adele’s “Hello” on YouTube racked up 16 million views, high school student Lydia Lee (Korean name Lee Ye Jin) was invited to appear on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show”!
The 16-year-old was joined by her mother in the studio, where Ellen DeGeneres lauds her with praise. “You have an amazing voice! It’s incredible,” she says, before asking Lydia if she read the comments on the video.
Lydia admits in fluent English that she has read the comments, expressing her shock at being recommended for the show. She is clearly delighted for the opportunity to perform for the American audience!
