EXID Shed Tears After Revealing Their Manager's Sacrifice and Loyalty

Girl group EXID shed tears after reading their manager’s letter for the first time.

On November 21, EXID’s guerrilla fan meet was live streamed on Naver V App. During the fan meet, EXID couldn’t stop their tears upon reading a letter from their manager, Kim Jae Hyun.

Their manager said in the letter, “Over the four  years, there were a lot of happy and enjoyable moments. There were a lot of twists and turns along the way, and after ‘Up and Down’ did so well, you were all so busy that you often didn’t even have time to eat. However, none of you complained even once and worked hard, saying, ‘When will we ever be able to work this much? We’re tired but happy.’ I am thankful to you because of that and I learned a lot, too.”

The manager continued to express his thanks, “I was happy because you were happy, and this will be a memory that I will never be able to forget.”

The members introduced him, saying, “He’s one of our original members. He was with us from the beginning.” Hani then said, “He didn’t get paid at the beginning. But even then, he didn’t leave us. To us, he’s someone that we’re very thankful for.”

Junghwa then said, “When we win first place or something good happens, he’s the one who’s the happiest. He’s the happiest in front of us and he thinks of us the most. We’re so thankful. Since we’re not very good at expressing ourselves, we sometimes hurt him. We’re so sorry. We like him the most.”
