This Week’s “Inkigayo” Canceled Due to Death of Former President
SBS‘s music show “Inkigayo” has canceled its upcoming episode due to the passing of South Korean former president Kim Young Sam.
According to insiders on November 22, “Inkigayo,” which was scheduled for the afternoon, was canceled to maintain the memorial atmosphere of the former president’s passing.
The recording of “Inkigayo” that was scheduled to air on November 22 will be aired instead on November 29, and exclusive news reports will replace “Inkigayo” today.
Meanwhile, former president Kim Young Sam passed away earlier today at the age of 88 (Korean reckoning). He was hospitalized at Seoul University Hospital with symptoms of blood infection, and was receiving treatment at the intensive care unit before he died.
