BTOB Makes Surprise Cameo Appearance on "The Village: Achiara's Secret"

The upcoming episode of SBS’s Wednesday-Thursday drama “The Village: Achiara’s Secret” will show a cameo featuring BTOB members. The drama released a still photo of the members acting on set. Their roles will be that of cute troublemakers who are being questioned at the police station. Apparently, their cameo will be 14 minutes long and will show them being scolded in a lighthearted scene.

Their cameo is especially notable because the group’s maknae Yook Sungjae is the male lead in the drama. Eunkwang, Changsub, Hyunsik, Peniel, and Ilhoon visited the set on November 19 to show their support for their fellow group member and gifted the actors and staff with a food truck and a coffee truck. After meeting the director, the director suggested appearing in a cameo which the members readily agreed to.

Since their cameo was impromptu, their roles were quite small but the members gave it their all with their bright energy and enthusiasm. While acting they bowed their heads in remorse. Actor Woo Sang Wook ad-libbed and the set was full of laughs due to this scene.

The members commented, “After cheering on Sungjae we were on our way home when the director suggested appearing in a surprise cameo. We were surprised at the unexpected request, but really happy. Although it’s a small part we are so happy to appear in a drama that Sungjae is acting in together. We hope that you will look forward to our appearance in tonight’s episode, don’t miss the tension, and enjoy. Please show a lot of love to ‘The Village: Achiara’s Secret’ and to our Sungjae.”
