Song Joong Ki Suffers Injury While Filming Action Scene for "Descendants of the Sun"

It was relayed that actor Song Joong Ki was injured while filming KBS 2TV‘s upcoming Monday-Tuesday drama, “Descendants of the Sun.”

He was filming an action scene for the drama on November 23 when he injured his arm. He currently had the arm splinted, and has canceled filming schedules until November 26.

On November 25, Song Joong Ki’s reps said, “We will have to wait for the results of the tests from the hospital, but it isn’t fractured and it’s not serious. Fortunately, it shouldn’t be a cause for huge worry.”

“Descendants of the Sun” is Song Joong Ki’s first drama since his discharge from the military. Since his injury was minor, it is expected that it will not impede the filming schedule too much.
