Heize Says She Has No Interest in Dating Right Now Despite Her Growing Popularity

Heize is a rookie in the hip-hop scene who has been gaining attention since her appearance on “Unpretty Rapstar 2.” Though it seems natural for her to enjoy her increasing popularity with guys, she said otherwise.

Recently, the female rapper collaborated with the sporting brand UMBRO for an athletic clothing pictorial, following an interview with The Star.

When asked if she was now aware of her star status, she said, “I’m not a celebrity. The fact I’m wanted is like a dream. It all happened in two months. Before then, nobody knew who I was. But now I’m Heize.”

She said her name was inspired by the rapper Angel Haze, who she is a big fan of. Liking the way Haze sounded, she decided to change the spelling to “Heize,” which means “to make hot” in German.

Though she was asked if more guys asked her out after her appearance on “Unpretty Rapstar 2,” she said, “I’m not interested. I don’t think it’s time for me to see anyone. So make sure you send out this message: I’m not interested in meeting someone new.”

She stressed that she has no desire whatsoever to date at the current moment.

When asked if she isn’t lonely, she answered, “Nobody on ‘Unpretty Rapstar 2’ probably had the time to be lonely. The schedule was so brutal that it would have ruined relationships anyways. One time, we were only given six hours to write 16 beats for two totally different songs. That’s why you end up making lyric mistakes. I’m upset about that.”
