Heo Young Saeng Refutes SS501 Disbandment Rumors in Pictorial Interview

In a recent photo shoot for magazine bnt International, Heo Young Saeng reveals his unchanging affection for SS501.

Released on November 27, the singer shows off his unchanging good looks even ten years after his debut. He prepares for the upcoming season in knits, jackets, and denim in classic colors like turquoise, gray, and black.

Among other subjects, he spoke about his recent time in the army and a little about his long-time group.

“I became friendly with Park Ki Woong after exercising with him and he suggested that we enlist as conscripted policemen together,” Heo Young Saeng says. “But at the last minute I ended up enlisting by myself.” Heo Young Saeng recently completed his service in the Seoul Police Promotional Team. “Five months before my discharge, I controlled my diet and didn’t eat fatty foods. I did weight training afterwards, but I hurt my waist.”

The singer also made sure to cheer on his recently enlisted juniors, Changmin (TVXQ) and Choi Siwon (Super Junior).

“I auditioned for SS501 without any expectations,” Heo Young Saeng says about his debut. “But because my register was high, the vocal trainer recommended me.”

“SS501 has not disbanded,” he concludes. “Next year [members] Kim Hyung Jun and Kim Kyu Jong are releasing mini-albums, so please support them. We will definitely come back together as five members and release an album in the future.”
