Park Seo Joon Is Surprised by International Fans' Reactions to His Looks

Actor Park Seo Joon recently sat down for a candid and fun interview on Arirang‘s “Showbiz Korea” about his hugely successful year!

The interviewer, Lina Kwon, presents Park Seo Joon with an award to congratulate him on such a great 2015, due to his lauded performances in the drama “Kill Me, Heal Me,” the films “The Chronicles of Evil” and “The Beauty Inside,” and of course his role in the hit drama “She Was Pretty.”

She then asks Park Seo Joon what was the most memorable line in “She Was Pretty” for him. He replies that calling Hyejin’s name was particularly memorable for him, and that there were times when it felt loving, sad, and also good. “The word ‘Hyejin’ is an important line,” he says. “It creates important situations.”

Lina Kwon also reads out comments and questions left by fans for Park Seo Joon on “Showbiz Korea”‘s Facebook page, including some of the many comments about just how handsome he is. “Fans from all over the world are asking why you’re so handsome!” she says.

“I’m so curious about that,” says Park Seo Joon. “I’m Korean, and Koreans have different things that they like, different preference and style. So it really amazes me that foreigners think in that way.”

Another fan asks Park Seo Joon what kind of year 2015 was for him. “I was 28 years old this year,” he replies. “That might not seem important, but it’s meaningful. When I’m filming nonstop, time goes by so fast. I feel like I haven’t done anything special this year, but it’s already almost December.”

“Every single year is so precious,” he says. “It might sound funny, but I’m 28 years old now and I never will be again. So 2015 was ‘the year when I was 28 years old.'”
