Ryu Jun Yeol Speaks Up About His Rise in Popularity

Actor Ryu Jun Yeol from the drama, “Reply 1988,” spoke up about his recent popularity.

On November 27, news outlet Sports Chosun conducted an interview with the actor, who is currently receiving a lot of love for his portrayal of the tough, but extremely sweet Kim Jung Hwan in the drama.

Ryu Jun Yeol said, “After the broadcast of the drama’s first episode, it was weird to experience being among the top searched people online and being called a ‘hot topic.’ I am in awe of it all and am always thankful for all the interest and love from fans.”

He continued, “Every day, the more interest the drama receives, the more nervous I become. Although I am forming more worries and concerns with all this attention I am not used to receiving, I decided to put all my attention and focus on my acting in the drama.

Ryu Jun Yeol officially started his acting career through the 2014 film, “Socialphobia,” and is currently part of the drama, “Reply 1988.” Landing first place in a poll as the best husband material, Ryu Jun Yeol is currently receiving a lot of love from female fans through his protective and charming character in the drama.
