HyunA, Jessi, San E, SEVENTEEN, and MONSTA X Round Out the Final 2015 MAMA Lineup

The 2015 MAMA (Mnet Asian Music Awards) have revealed their final artist lineup. The ceremony will take place on December 2 in Hong Kong.

Rookie groups SEVENTEEN and MONSTA X, rappers Jessi and San E, and 4Minute’s HyunA have all been confirmed to be joining the final lineup. Every year, MAMA seeks to highlight the achievements of artists who have demonstrated great popularity in Asia.

MONSTA X debuted in May with “TRESPASS” before coming back in September with mini-album “RUSH,” which reached No. 1 on the Hanteo Chart. They are currently showcasing their strong charisma in their current track “Hero.”

Hip-hop artist San E received a lot of love this year for his storytelling concept and lyrics, as well as his skill in combining hip-hop and popular music. Last April he released a full-length album “The Boy Who Cried Wolf” and in November released the digital single “Sour Grapes” with Mad Clown.

SEVENTEEN debuted in May with their first mini-album “17CARAT” and in September released their second mini-album “Boys Be.” They are currently gaining attention for producing their own songs and choreography. They are currently set to have their first solo concert seven months after their debut.

Rapper Jessi appeared on the first season of “Unpretty Rapstar” early this year and impressed audiences with her rapping skills and unique appeal. In April she released her first solo track “I want to be me” and in September released her second solo track “SSENUNNI.”

Finally, HyunA returned this past August with her fourth solo mini-album “A+,” showing off her sexy charisma once again. Her title track “Because I’m the Best” showed off her unique vocals and strong performance.

The rest of the lineup includes PSYBIGBANG, CLiKON, GOT7Park Jin YoungBTS, Zion.T, Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon, EXO, f(x) (in collaboration with the Pet Shop Boys), and SHINee.
