Park Bo Young and Cha Tae Hyun May Reunite on the Big Screen
If the rumors are true, this would be their first film together in seven years. Their last project was “Scandal Makers” in 2008 when they played a father-daughter pair. The two actors have remained close and Park Bo Young continues to playfully refer to the older actor as “Dad.”
Ha Jung Woo has already been confirmed to be cast in the film, which tells the story of a man who dies and must undergo a series of trials for 49 days in the afterlife, weaving in various elements from traditional Korean folklore. Based on a webtoon of the same name, the film is to be directed by Kim Yong Hwa.
Park Bo Young is currently starring in the film “You Call It Passion,” while Cha Tae Hyun’s Chinese-Korean film “The New Sassy Girl” and “Because I Love You” (working title) are awaiting release.
