Female Hip-Hop Star Surprises on "King of Mask Singer"

On the November 29 episode of “King of Mask Singer,” the contestants I Am Miss Korea and Luxury Countess battle it out by singing Park Mi Kyung‘s “Eve’s Warning” as a duet.

The two deliver a crowd-pleasing performance, but alas, only one can win, and it is Luxury Countess who prevails and moves on to the second round.

The real shocker of the night comes when I Am Miss Korea’s identity is revealed to be none other than rapper Jessi! During her reveal segment, Jessi sings a portion of the solo song she had prepared, Fly to the Sky‘s “Sea of Love.” Even in just the small portion of the song, Jessi demonstrates that she’s not only a talented rapper, but that she has one powerful set of pipes on her when it comes to singing, as well.
