"Reply 1988" Finale Delayed

tvN‘s Friday-Saturday drama “Reply 1988” will be airing it’s finale later than originally planned.

It was announced that the show be taking a break for one week, from January 1 to January 2. The TV channel will be airing substitute programming on those two days.

OSEN contacted tvN and asked about the reason behind break in programming. tvN answered that, “[It was decided to] extend the time we have to film and edit in order to make a perfect program, [because of that] we agreed on having a break [in the programming].”

“Reply 1988” tells the story of five different families living in Seoul in the same neighborhood. It achieved 11.3% national viewership rating for the latest episode, Episode 8, and has been receiving favorable reviews.
