RP (Royal Pirates) Is Ready to Rock and Roll for Their Comeback

The three-man rock band Royal Pirates has changed their name to RP and returned to the music scene after a year and a half.

In celebration of their comeback, they held the showcase for their third EP album “3.3” on November 30.

The band said they are proud of their new work, saying, “The album is filled with priceless songs.”

“We’ve comeback with a new album in a year and a half,” main vocalist Kim Moon Chul (Moon Kim) said. “I’ve put more care to this album than ever. I hope everyone loves it.”

Meanwhile, all the members of RP are from California and have practiced their skills playing in live houses and clubs where other legendary artists have performed. They came to Korea in 2012 and debuted in August of 2013 to play rock at their home country. Since then, the three have also spread their name by appearing on variety shows such as “Law of the City” and “Law of the Jungle.”

Their third EP “3.3” is especially noteworthy because Jung Jae Yoon, member of the legendary RnB group Solid, produced it. It was released on December 1.
