Luhan Releases Official Promotion Song “Deep” for “Kung Fu Panda 3”

Former EXO member Luhan has recorded a song and MV for the upcoming animated film “Kung Fu Panda 3.” 

“Kung Fu Panda 3” is the third in the series of films about Po, a lovable panda who seeks to master kung fu and defeat the enemies that threaten his peaceful valley. This sequel is being co-produced between DreamWorks Animation and Oriental DreamWorks, a studio based in Shanghai. 

The song is called “Deep” and it is sung mostly in Mandarin, although the music video has English subtitles. The song starts out soft and gentle before upping the ante into a bright, rhythmic beat. The music video features scenes from the previous two films as well as footage of Luhan dancing with a crew of backup dancers in front of various Chinese-themed scenic backdrops. 

As befitting a promotional song, the video also shows some scenes from the upcoming movie. Near the end, Luhan also tries a bowl of Po’s signature noodles and is suitably impressed.

“Kung Fu Panda 3” will be released in theaters on January 29, 2015. You can watch the MV below:
