Yoo Jae Suk, Cha In Pyo, and Shin Ae Ra Revealed to Have Donated 140 Million Won

Actor couple Cha In Pyo and Shin Ae Ra and comedian Yoo Jae Suk have come together in good will. According to Babsang Community Welfare Foundation, Cha In Pyo and Shin Ae Ra donated 200,000 briquettes on November 18. It’s close to 1 million won (approximately $85,000) worth of briquettes and it’s enough to cover 25 percent of the households in Seoul using briquettes for heating and cooking.

On November 12, Yoo Jae Suk joined in the effort. He donated 80,000 briquettes, worth 40 million won (approximately $35,000). It is said that Yoo Jae Suk has donated 20 million won (approximately $17,000) to the foundation every year since 2013. It looks like he doubled the amount this year and has thus far donated total of 80 million won (approximately $69,000).

The representative of the foundation commented, “We’re so grateful for everyone who has given. They were hesitant to tell the media, but I hope the news warms up people’s hearts.”
