FTISLAND's Choi Jong Hoon and Rainbow's Oh Seung Ah Cast for Web Drama
FTISLAND‘s Choi Jong Hoon and Rainbow‘s Oh Seung Ah will be playing a young couple in an upcoming web drama entitled “88th Street” (literal translation).
Based on a webtoon of the same name, the drama deals with psychological struggles that are familiar to most modern people. Choi Jong Hoon has been cast for the role of pharmacist Marco, while Oh Seung Ah will play Marco’s new neighbor Somi. Giving the plot a little twist, she suffers from a syndrome which makes her unable to laugh.
Recently released photos from the first script reading session show the lead couple focused on reading scripts. The director expressed his confidence in the idols’ acting skills, and said that they hope to create a drama that viewers will find both entertaining and emotional.
The filming began on December 1, and the premiere is expected to take place in February.
