BTS Breaks Into the Billboard Top 200 Charts

The boys of BTS are showing off their international popularity, as their newest album “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Pt. 2” has busted its way into the Billboard Top 200 chart!

The album debuted at 171 on the chart, with over 5,000 copies sold in the first week since its release. Billboard calculates album sales by physical sales, digital sales, and streaming. The album also broke BTS’ previous records by topping out at the No. 1 spot on the Heatseekers Albums and World Albums charts, where they had peaked at No. 6 and No. 2, respectively.

According to Billboard, BTS is the first K-pop group to break into the Top 200 chart outside of the “Big Three” Korean record labels – that is, SM, YG, and JYP. Meanwhile, “The Most Beautiful Moment in Life, Pt. 2” dropped on November 30.
